F inally got to visit the beautiful Phuket in Thailand on the 3rd day of our cruise! Of course, it was just a short tour and we didn't get to see much of the famous beaches and islands around it. But nonetheless, we got to see an amazing temple, a pretty scenic view and had a major shopping experience in one of the local malls.

W ell, this is a continuation from my cruise tour! On our second day, we went to Penang, Malaysia and had short city tour. The place and the people reminds me so much of Manila --- there's almost a summer-y weather and Malaysians are very hospitable. We went to see an awesome temple, some street markets filled with cute wall decals and great stores and of course, went shopping in one of the most beautiful malls I've ever seen.

T wo weeks ago, we went to "Designer Blooms" cafe to have a family lunch to celebrate (in advance) my mom's birthday. This place is not just an ordinary restaurant but it's one of the most beautiful restaurants we've ever been and not to mention the interior design is amazing plus it's just near where I live.

S ince most of you are wondering, I already went to London way back 2005 and I almost don't remember anything from that trip (except living in a flat across McDonald's) so, I was so glad that I got to spend my summer 2013 there plus my internship for school purposes. Going solo for an international internship in London is definitely an adventure, I was the only one in our batch who took the leap of faith by having that independent international internship. Everything just happened so fast!
