Bohol Trip part 2 // Island Getaway
For our Day 2 in Bohol, we woke up at 3 AM and made our way to Panglao Island at 5 AM... we then rented a boat that will be our transportation for the whole day.
To start off this post, an obligatory photo of myself, the pretty sunrise at the beach and Bohol's own version of "white sand" is a must! Haha~
Of course, I wouldn't leave the place without taking photos with the pretty lighting at my back! And about my oufit that day, I opted to wear my thrifted H&M summer dress and my swimsuit underneath it.
The reason why the tour started so early is because we have to watch the dolphins in action since dolphins are scheduled to play at around 6:30-7 AM. These are just some of the photos I snapped to show you guys, how near they were at the boats.
Our first stop is at Balicasag Island, wherein me and my sister tried snorkeling. You can rent the snorkeling gear at the island and also the right shoes to protect you from the corals while you have fun looking at the school of fishes and pretty corals. Tip: You can actually feed the fishes, you can either buy a bread at the sari-sari store at the island or bring your own.
This photo was taken by my mom while she sits on the boat while waiting for us to finish snorkeling. If you look clearly, you can see the different kinds of fish and this just proves how clear the water is. Tip: Purchase an underwater camera before your island hopping tour, 'cause we forgot to buy one hehe~
Meet Patrick Star--- blue version haha!~ I admit it's more fun snorkeling in Bohol compared to Palawan because I can see everything underwater since the water and the goggles we used are clearer.
It rained when we were on our way to our last stop which is the Virgin Island... it was also high tide that's why we did not see the "C" formation of the sand. To summarize the trip in this island, we just merely roam around and take photos.
This is what a sea urchin originally looks like...
... and then they cleaned it up and it turned out like this. There a lot of people selling sea urchins for 20 pesos and you can actually eat the slimy part inside it, my sister tried it. Eeew!
There are also a lot of people selling different kinds of shell for a low price. It was not the end of our day because after the island hopping tour, we headed back to the hotel and then went out again to check a "pasalubong shop" called Angel's Basket. Anyway, self-centered photos starts now...
If you are planning to go to Bohol and wants to make your own itinerary to save money and don't know where to start, feel free to ask me questions :)

P.S. My outfit that day totally reminds me of Girls Generation's Echo music video, I have been lusting over their dresses (especially Yoona's dress!) on that video ever since the music video came out... watch it below.
