The Not-so-Basic Basic

These sunny photos feels like it's been ages ago! Well it is... (sort of like three weeks ago? Haha!) but that's not the point because apparently, London is back to the below 10 degrees weather and gloomy sky again. Hopefully, it's going to be sunny on the next few weeks because I am about to finish my internship, yay! Cheers to a tourist mode once again and everyday shooting of outfit photos.




On this post, I'm gonna show you a few photos from our short visit to Convent Garden. We visited it on a Saturday morning and there's just too many people enjoying the sunshine, shopping, eating at the restaurants and watch some artists perform on the streets including the famous Brit girlband, Little Mix!


On that day, I decided to wear a not so basic look to portray a casual look but still make it to a point that it will look like some sort of a classy themed outfit so I wore this gorgeous earrings from Efoxcity. I never knew I could wear earrings like this since I have a small face but surprisingly  I fell in love with it and totally reminds me of Kristina Bazan and what I probably wear if I do errands on the street of New York. It is definitely the epitome of a statement accessory!




And then I paired it up with a black pants (sorry my mobile peeking there haha) and a vintage top with embroidery design on it as well as puffy sleeves which I also wore as my work outfit. To add up an accessory to my outfit, I opted to wear my butterfly shaped sunglasses from Zero UV, it's one of fave sunnies because it's so different from the normal sunnies that girls get to wear (like Raybans, Aviators etc.).







To complete the casual yet classy look I wore my strappy sandals with a little bit of sparkle design on it. At first I wanted to get the basic simple strappy sandals that you may have seen from some famous bloggers but I chose this one instead because it's more eye-catching and oh well, I just love studs!
