A Walk in the Park
It's finally spring here in London and that means I only have to wear two layers instead of three! Here's an outfit that I wore when the sun was out and the perfect thing to do have a walk in the park and just take photos. Since I started my internship that week, I decided to wear my corporate attire during my first day while we stroll around Hyde and Kensington park.
The park was jampacked with too many people who were longing for the warm weather and sun, not gonna blame them for that though... it doesn't feel like Spring on the first day of April and it lasted for about two weeks where it was super cold, windy plus there's a bit rain and snow.
Our first stop was the Italian Garden where I took my outfit photos, tossing my coat and actually putting a lightweight blazer is the highlight of the day! Anyway, there's no special thing about the place except there were a lot of fountains which pretty much reminds me of Trevi Fountain (ahhhh Rome!).
A clean look for the day! This is my favourite corporate attire ever probably because it's black and white (very easy to mix and match), classy, elegant and reminds me of a Parisian look. The little peter pan collar on my top is just the cutest... I'm not gonna complain if I'm going to wear this look everyday at work.
This part of Hyde Park reminds me of Central Park located in one my dream place to be, New York City... it's maybe because of the tunnel! Watch this clip from the movie "Enchanted" and you'll know probably know what I'm talking about.
Picture perfect shot at the Kensington park where Princess Diana used to live and now the home of Prince William and Kate Middleton. Imagine if the flowers started to bloom and trees will finally have their leaves, this place must be breathtaking... I must come back and take photos once it's really Spring.
I now present you the simple yet fascinating Kensington Palace! This is not as big as the Buckingham Palace (which I'm going to show you on my future post) but it's a great place to visit and enjoy the sun while it's still out because it's located in the middle of the park, a little bit far away from the busy street of Oxford or Piccadilly Circus.
"Take nothing but pictures. Leave nothing but footprints. Kill nothing but time"... and post it on Instagram? Hahaha! This photo says it all! By the way I added a little section on my sidebar which you can see some of Instagram photos (@missbernadeth), I will be uploading a lot of photos since everything in this city is just worth-Instagramming (if there's such a word).
This is probably my favourite bag as of now because I can use it on whatever outfit I wear and it clearly shows how much I like studs. Definitely my travel bag or maybe my school bag too? Who knows!? But in the meantime, this is my "work bag".
