Chateau Hestia Garden Restaurant

Image
M y friends would ask me why I always wanted to try out and explore different restaurants --- it's because I wanted to discover new places and try out different cuisines. And Chateau Hestia Garden Restaurant in Tagaytay is by far my favorite restaurant which I've discovered because of the vibe and the dining experience. Although it was pretty hard to locate their restaurant, the place is worth it! I've always liked restaurants which we can dine in and I could take my outfit photos and for some reason, Chateau Hestia is perfect for that.

Make it Quick

C urrently cleaning up old files from my laptop and found a bunch of unpublished photos waiting to be edited and feature here on my blog. I've been meaning to post this a long time ago however, I just can't seem to find the right time to do so. There is no better way than to spend a rainy afternoon in the bed and just browse instagram photos for inspiration --- and that's what I've been doing lately.

Hey Daydreamer

Image
A s promised, I'm showing you another set of photos from our Dreamland Arts & Crafts Cafe trip (view my review about the cafe here ) . These photos does not do justice on how indie the place is... so, you better check out their cafe personally real soon! I think there is no better way to visit this place than by wearing a bohemian inspired outfit to match the cafe's vibe.

Dreamland Arts & Crafts Cafe in Tagaytay

Image
I t's been a long time ever since I featured a "must visit" place here in Cavite so, this summer vacation I'm trying my best to go out and explore more places (but really, they're more like restaurants) and feature here on my blog. Easy to tell, hard to do especially with this kind of heat! I think the best way to beat the heat is to chill at places like Dreamland Arts & Crafts Cafe . My inner Vanessa Hudgens is jumping up and down with joy when I entered the cafe ---- a bohemian themed cafe in the middle of the city. Imagine being surrounded with a lot of dreamcatchers and everything that you can incorporate with "Coachella". There's even a small shop where you can find anything boho!

A Day at Yoki's Farm, Tagaytay

Image
R emember my staycation at Wilson's Place Tagaytay? Well, here's (somewhat) a continuation of it! This place is also owned by the same family who owns Wilson's Place and you'll get  to enjoy a day tour at Yoki's Farm (for walk-in visitors, entrance fee is Php 100.00/person). There will be a tour guide to show you around the place of the hydroponics farm where they get their supplies of fresh vegetables served in their B&B place (they are also on sale so, you can prepare your own fresh homade salad!), the garden full of different orchids, the mini zoo which features some amazing birds that according to our tour guide costs hundreds of pesos and lastly, the huge collection of antiques by the owner.

Am I in Bangkok yet?

Image
Y ou know you're daydreaming about being in Bangkok when you're surrounded with a lot of buddhas and the only thing that's missing is floating around the Bangkok market. To be able to visit Thailand is on my bucket list and I may not be able to go now but oh well, at least a part of Tagaytay made me feel like I'm there. This was shot in Yoki's Farm (see featured post here) and I know, this post is way overdue but it's hard not to just keep this outfit post on my drafts because it made me realize how much I'm in love with brown hues and the idea of dressing up like a girl who's absolutely in love with the summer heat because honestly, that's not me haha!

Staycation: Wilson's Place Tagaytay

Image
A s promised, here is a special post from last month's staycation at Wilson's Place Tagaytay . I couldn't think of a better way to welcome summer than staying overnight in a comfy bed in a bed and breakfast place and floating around on a donut inflatable in a huge pool the whole sunny day and being far away from the busy city is just a plus. The whole place is absolutely filled with a lot of unique things, there are sculptures everywhere (proof is on this post) , the main reception/dining area is colorful like springtime (check out my other post for that) , there are different chairs in each table and matches very well together with the whole room's design in a very unique way. To be honest, I almost wanted to take home one of their chairs! It was pretty amazing knowing that we were the only ones who were checked in that day. The staff were very nice to assist us in almost everything, they're very accommodating and makes us feel at home all the time. Our ro...

Stuck like a Statue

A s much as I love wearing jackets and coats there just one problem, I mean a big one... I live in a tropical country and when you visit one of the coldest place in your country, you just have to make the most of it and I mean, wear your newest coat and never been used boots. We stayed overnight in a dainty and almost private hotel in Tagaytay city called Wilson's place (more about that later) and across our room is this little corner filled with bronze sculptures that made it easy for me to choose where to shoot this outfit.

School Sucks Bigtime

Image
W hat's the possibility of wearing an outfit last month that coordinates with your school's general assembly (bootcamp) and that outfit states "School Sucks"? Not a chance... but I guess I did it anyways hahaha! I wore this look when we stayed over at T-House Hotel in Tagaytay and because it's the place in the Philippines where it's cold most of the time, I finally decided to wear my boots and beanies again.

Heart Skips a Beat

T here are no words on how I can describe my happiness that I'm finally blogging and posting a new outfit post amidst the stressful weeks that I've been going through because of school. One sudden afternoon, my friends (also known as the Funshoot crew) decided to hit the road and grant my wish to help me with this post... there's no better way to end the day than eating and taking photos with your friends!

Let's go, lego!
