Channelling through the Garden
Remember when I told you guys that you will be seeing a few more posts of mine with the cherry blossom trees as my background? Well, here's another one! This look was taken last month but I'm only blogging it now just because... I have a weird way of organizing what to post first hahaha!
Anyway, due to our expectation that there's going to be a lovely weather on that day, we decided to roam around the Regents Park once again and found ourselves on this part where it looks like it's a palace garden, filled with flowers and numerous lovely fountains on every part. The place is just perfect for another outfit photoshoot!
Although these photos looks like it's taken during a very spring-y weather well, it's not! There was no sun and it was really cold when these photos were taken but you know, I have to do justice with the outfit that I'm wearing and do my own thing while there were a lot of people on the park and make myself warm enough to actually be able to pose.
My favourite photo of all (from this part of the park), is the one above! Being in the middle of those kind-of lion statues reminds me of Harry Potter and I don't even know why... plus the wind over my hair made it feel like I am about to fly with them. Okay, so much with this imagination going on my mind haha!
I've always wanted a photo of me walking on the middle of the road with cherry blossoms on my background specifically in Japan or Korea but never knew, I could have a photo of that here in London! The lovely velvet blazer on my shoulders and this look never fails to remind me of a paparazzi shot just after a Paris Fashion week show.
These photos were taken on the first week of Spring and just look at the flowers! How much more on the last week of May? Then it will surely be a Flower Wonderland everywhere in London. I can't wait to shoot more on the parks and be able to enjoy the sun and the not so crowded part of the city.
What I love when travelling on a cold country is that I can wear boots and leggings all the time, that's why it's no question that I already filled up my "London wardrobe" with tights that got design on them and one of those is this ballet inspired tights that I got from Romwe! I suddenly remembered my ballet class back when I was a kid so, I tried to dress up just like one (only in a modern way).
Paired it up with my (sort of) Victorian printed top that reminds me of Barbie and a tulle skirt which I got from Madlady, my beaded headband (just 'cause it's so princess-y) and also my favourite knee-high leather boots... this is my version of a modern ballerina without actually wearing a ballet shoes!
To complete this classy look, I wore my Chanel acrylic necklace from Personalized accessories! This necklace is the reason for the title of this post (if you haven't noticed) and it simply made this outfit more Paris fashion week-y. Who says I need an expensive Chanel necklace when I can get an affordable yet has a very interesting detail one?
I apologized for the long post (once again), I just can't help but to share to all of you these gorgeous photos that me and my sister had taken plus I also wanna show you a few lovely things on what you can see on this dream city. More (long) outfit photos very soon!
